Not One, Not Two But Three Masters Champs Teeing-Up At ‘The Creek’

Not one, not two but three Masters champs will be teeing-up later this month in the Dubai Invitational.

Danny Willett, winner of the 2016 Masters, Patrick Reed, Augusta National champion in 2018 and reigning Masters champ Rory McIlroy have been confirmed to tee-up in the opening DP World Tour event of 2026 proper.

As well, it will be the sixth event of the wraparound 2025/’26 DP World Tour schedule.

The $US 2.75m event kicks off on January 15th and again at the Dubai Creek Golf Club laid out along Dubai Creek.

Also in the limited  60-player field will be fellow major champions Shane Lowry and Padraig Harrington along with winning European Ryder Cup colleagues Francesco Molinari and defending champ Tommy Fleetwood, winner two years of the inaugural event.

Kiwi Ryan Fox, a dual winner on last year’s PGA Tour, will be teeing-up as will Tom McKibbon, the brilliant wire-to-wire winner of last year’s Hong Kong Open and in his maiden Asian Tour appearance.

Others of note include England’s Paul Waring, Dutchman Joost Luiten, Italy’s Matteo Manassero and the ever-popular Pablo Larrazabal.
