McDowell Not About To Crucify Himself Missing Out On WGC Match-Play.
Palm Harbor, FL …
Graeme McDowell was more pleased to produce his ball-striking round all season on day four of the Valspar Championship than any disappointment in not qualifying for next fortnight’s WGC event in Texas.
McDowell produced a last round four under 67 for a five under par total and a clubhouse share of 13th place late in the event on the Copperhead course at the Innisbrook Resort near Tampa.
The effort is a best PGA Tour finish since last August’s fifth at the Wyndham Championship ...

Palm Harbor, FL …
Russell Knox had a smile on his face when he said he was unconcerned in missing halfway cuts if it meant becoming only the second Scot to win the Masters.
Unfortunately, after missing a third cut in four events at this week’s Valspar Championship Knox has just one event to get his game back on track before teeing up in the new season’s first Major starting April 6th at Augusta National.
As Knox is not entered this week’s ‘memorial’ Arnold Palmer Invitational ...
