MacIntyre Confirmed For WGC At The Concession – First Stateside Step Of Three Leading To Masters.

Robert MacIntyre next week’s takes the first of huge three Stateside steps leading to teeing-up in April’s Masters.

MacIntyre has automatically qualified for next week’s WGC at The Concession by virtue of being inside the top-50 on the World Rankings.

Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre confirmed for next week’s WGC at the Concession.

The Oban lefty has moved up one place to 43rd in the world without hitting a shot and thus qualify for the whopping $10.5m event being played from Feb 25th to 28th WGC – Concession.

The Florida event is taking the place of the WGC – Mexico Championship and moved to the US due to COVID-19 concerns in Mexico City.

The host Concession course was built in honour of the historic Jack Nicklaus concession of a three-foot Tony Jacklin putt in the 1969 Ryder Cup at Royal Birkdale that resulted in the only tie in the Ryder Cup.

Jacklin lives on the exclusive Concession course estate to the south of Tampa, Florida

And MacIntyre will definitely be in the 64-player for the March 24th to 28th WGC – Dell Match-Play Championship in Austin, Texas.

His next event post competing along the shores of the Colorado River in the Texas capital will be a maiden Masters invitation and to be officially confirmed on Monday March 29th.
