Augusta National GA …

Rory McIlroy got a first look in nearly a year at Augusta National on Sunday ahead of next months ‘Take 3’ at striving to capture the coveted Grand Slam.

The four time Major Champion will be attempting for a third occasion to win the famed Augusta members green jacket and if successful will join just other five players to have won all four majors.

McIlroy was fourth behind Jordan Spieth in 2015 and had to settle for a share of 10th behind Danny Willett a year ago.

And during Sunday’s rain delay McIlroy scooped the world’s golfing media in getting a look at the new two-storey multi million dollar Media Centre that overlooks the Augusta National practice range.

The 2017 Masters commences at Augusta National on 6th April.
