“This will make a nice wedding gift” was Shane Lowry’s comments to the media after learning he earned a Masters logo crystal bowl for his hole-in-one at the par three 16th on the final day at Augusta.

However nobody picked-up on the fact Lowry’s wedding was sooner rather than later.

Well, Lowry is married and he tied the knot earlier today to compatriot Wendy Honner in New York as you can see from his tweet below.

And his wedding comes 11 days after he celebrated his 29th birthday.

All we can say is CONGRATULATIONS AND WISH THE NEW MR. & MRS. LOWRY EVERY HAPPINESS.
