Okay, now don’t go getting excited but I finally made my way out of a tournament media centre.

In fact, I accompanied Rory McIlroy over the back nine of his Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am and enjoying the occasion to chat in between a few of his shots.

He was telling what he’d been up to the past week and how much he enjoyed playing golf with his father, Gerry last Sunday at Seminole.

And then Rory was also asking me how long I was out in the States and also how we are both heading back to the UK after the Masters – me to Crail and Rory’s says he’s going back to Northern Ireland for three weeks.

However in following McIlroy I managed to get what I think is a couple of great shots of him playing over some very tall trees down the right side of the 15th hole here at Bay Hill.
