A happy 50th birthday to Jose Maria Olazabal.

The double Masters winning Spaniard, and victorious 2012 European Ryder Cup Captain, was born February 5th, 1966.

Olazabal shares his birthday with some very famous footballers including Christiano Ronaldo and Carlos Trevez.

However there will be tinge of sadness in Olazabal’s birthday celebration with the news a former caddy in Scotland’s Dave Renwick passed away on Wednesday, and with Renwick having caddied for him when he won the 1994 Masters.
