Tiger Woods again showed his generous side in donating $26,000 at a charity auction for a unique pair of Nike shoes.
Woods donation was part of $1m raised for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon and not far from the world headquarters of Nike.
It made for a sum total of $13.8m that has been raised in special collaboration with the hospital and a team of Nike designers, and with the hospital patients paired with designers to design sneakers and some apparel.
And one of the highlight of the auctions was a winning $26,000 bid by proxy from Tiger Woods for a Batman-themed skateboard shoe designed by young Isaiah Neumayer-Grubb shown in the picture below.
