Tiger Woods Emerges From Augusta No-Man’s Land With Incredible Birdie.

Tiger Woods pulled off one of the most remarkable birdies not only in this year’s Masters but in the Masters for some time.

Woods played a horrible tee shot off the par five, 13th tee, and a hole named Azalea, but letting go of his club as his ball headed way left and less than 180-yards off the tee.

In fact, there was not a soul down the left side of the 13th when Woods ball disappeared into the trees on the 510-yard hole that the official 2015 Masters program says presents ‘a wonderful scoring opportunity’.

However Woods then could not believe his good fortune in finding the ball resting on pine needles with a ‘window’ of opportunity back to the carpet-like fairway.

Woods then played a third into the green and to the great surprise of the golf world walking off with one of the most remarkable birdies in recent times.

At the end of the day’s play Woods produced yet another lower score than the day prior to now go into the final round with a remarkable share of fifth place after exhibiting in recent months arguably the worst golf of his 14-time Major winning career.

“It was just a terrible tee shot,” said Woods.

“That’s my old body pattern for a draw, with my new release pattern. And they don’t work (laughter).

“So I hit the big ball first before I hit the little ball. And then got fortunate where I had a lie. If it was in the rough I couldn’t have played that shot, because I couldn’t get enough spin. But I was on the pine straw where I could get good, solid contact and spin it around the corner, which I did.

“And I had 173 to the hole and hit a 7-iron up there. And it was nice seeing Sergio. Sergio had a hell of a shot from over the green, I saw how much it broke at the end, so I gave it about an inch and a half more break, after watching his putt come up there and poured it in there. ”
