 His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 15th

 His victory would beat his best previous European Tour performance of tied second in the 2014 Masters Tournament.

 Would become the fifth first-time winner of the 2015 European Tour season. They are: Andy Sullivan (South African Open Championship), Gary Stal (Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship), Anirban Lahiri (Maybank Malaysian Open), Trevor Fisher Jnr (Africa Open) and Jordan Spieth.

 It is Spieth’s first Major Championship victory in his ninth Major Championship

 His victory beats a previous best Major Championship performance of tied second in the 2014 Masters Tournament where he had led through 54-holes.

 Spieth now joins Jimmy Demaret (1940), Herman Keiser (1946) and Charl Schwartzel (2011), as players winning the Masters Tournament on their second appearance. (The first time in Masters Tournament history a player has finished tied second on their debut and won in the next appearance.  At age 21 years and 259 days he is the second youngest winner of the Masters Tournament, behind Tiger Woods, who was 21 years and 104 days in 1997.

 He led the Masters Tournament going into the final round for the second consecutive year. The winner has played in the last match on Sunday in 21 of the last 25 years.

 Spieth becomes only the fifth wire-to-wire winner of the Masters Tournament with no ties. He follows: Craig Wood (1941), Arnold Palmer (1960), Jack Nicklaus (1972).

 He is the 42nd player to win the Masters Tournament when leading or sharing the lead going into the final round.

 Spieth set a new Masters Tournament records for the lowest opening 36 holes of 130 (-14), beating the previous best of Raymond Floyd of 131 (-13) in 1976. Also for the lowest opening 54 hole total of 200 (-16), beating Raymond Floyd (1976) and Tiger Woods (1997), both shot 201 (-15). He also equalled the record for the largest 36 hole lead of five shots by, Herman Keiser (1946), Jack Nicklaus (1975) and Raymond Floyd (1976). (All went onto win the Masters Tournament that year).

 Spieth’s opening round of 64 (-8) is the lowest opening round by a winner in Masters tournament history, beating the 65 (-7) of Raymond Floyd in 1976.

 He is the 59th American victory in the Masters Tournament.

 He is the the 36th different American to win the Masters Tournament.

 Spieth is the second American to win on The European Tour in 2015, following Dustin Johnson (WGC – Cadillac Championship).

 It is the tenth American to win the Masters Tournament in the last 15 years

 It is the 200th victory by an American victory in European Tour history.

 He becomes the 85th different American to win on The European Tour.
