Dustin Johnson & Holmes Ace Within 24 Minutes Of Each Other But No Cadillac … See The Video.

In a rare first the American pair of Dustin Johnson were celebrating in acing the par three fourth hole and within 24 minutes of each other.

Johnson grabbed his fourth PGA Tour in hitting a 7-iron and a first hole-in-one since he aced the 16th on the final day of the 2011 Open Championship.

“The fourth is a really tough hole, tough par 3, but if you get a one there into the hole, obviously that’s a bonus,” said Johnson.

“*Yeah, I just hit a really good shot. Actually, I pushed it just a hair but I wasn’t aiming right at the flag. I was aiming just a fraction left of it and it rolled right in.

“I could tell it’s going right at it from back of the tee but it kind of goes up and over the hump and I could hear them get loud and thenobviously when was in.”

Holmes, competing in the very group behind, also used a 7-iron and in a copy cat shot with the ball hitting the green and virtually following the same path as Johnson’s in running up and disappearing into the hole.

Unfortunately the prize of new Cadillac sedan was offer for an ace at either the ninth or 15th holes of the Trump National Doral.

And the last time two players on the PGA Tour aced the same hole on the same day of an event was at 2013 Barclays Championship when Aussie Greg Chambers and Koran K H Choi aced the par three 14th on the Liberty National course in New Jersey.
