The extremely cold weather caught out the majority of Commercial Bank Qatar Masters contestants including Belgium’s Nicolas Colsaerts.

The former Ryder Cup star found himself having to visit the Doha Golf Club Pro Shop to buy a pullover to combat the unseasonable conditions.

The champion Callaway staff player is teeing up in the Qatar capital having finished T26th in last week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in the UAE.

And he will contest the opening two rounds in the company of two fellow big-hitters in Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Australia’s Scott Hend.
