At last!

After months of writing about the subject and Shane Lowry has received the most sought-after letter in all of golf – an envelope post-marked Augusta, GA and in this case, dated shortly after December 31st, 2o14.

Inside the white envelope was his much-anticipated invitation to compete in the 2015 Masters.

And when he tees up in April it will complete the quartet for Lowry of having played in all four Majors.

At this stage, Lowry will be one of 16 Augusta National first timers.

The others include:-  Erik Compton, USA, Corey Conners (Canada), Brian Harman (USA), Scott Harvey (USA), Morgan Hoffmann (USA), Brooks Koepka (USA), Byron Meth (USA), Antonio Murdaca (Australia), Bradley Neil (Scotland), Seung-Yul Noh (South Korea), Robert Streb (USA), Brendan Todd (USA), Cameron Tringale (USA), Danny Willett (England) and  Gunn Yang (South Korea – Amateur).
