Rory McIlroy Sinks Teeth Into Shell Houston Open Bar-B-Que Burger & Cheese – Exclusive Photo.

Double Major winning Rory McIlroy delighted in sinking his teeth in a mini hamburger near the end of his Shell Houston Open Pro-Am.

Organisers once again set up the bar-b-que halfway between the 13th green and 14th tee on the Redstone course and host this week to the $US 6.2m event.

And McIlroy along with caddy J P Fitzgerald and their four Pro-Am partners needed little encouragement to sample the mine burgers and cheese given the smell of the ‘barbie’ was clearly drifting across the 13th green.

However in contrast to last year McIlroy found himself group with four Texas businessmen.

A year ago he played the Pro Am in the company of Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Emmit Smith along with NASCAR owner legend Roger Penske and former US Secretary of State, James A. Baker who served under President and fellow Texas, George W. Bush.

This year it was Jordan Spieth who captained a Pro-Am team featuring Smith, Penske and country music legend, Clay Walker and Marvin Odum, who is the current President of the Shell Oil Company.
