eme McDowell has proudly announced on Twitter he has taken delivery of a few new items of equipment ahead of his next event – the 2014 Masters.

Of course, the former US Open champion is packing new wedges but also a ‘little 3-wood’ and as reported exclusively earlier this week by www.golfbytourmiss.com McDowell’s been working on his Augusta National game at the little known Mountain Lake course about an hour’s drive south of his Lake Nona residence.

It is the second straight year McDowell has sought to ‘warm-up’ for the Masters in the Augusta-like Mountain Lake layout.

And he’s also taken delivery of an Augusta colored theme golf bag – and now hoping to become the fourth Irish-born golfer to benefit from the absence of Tiger Woods.
