Tiger Woods Recognizes Journalistic Talent.

Tiger Woods certainly recognizes journalist talent as evidenced during his pre-tournament Turkish Airlines Open press conference here in Belek.

There was standing room only in the conference room of the stunning Maxx Royal when the current World No. 1 was introduced to the assembled guests and media.

One of the questions put to Woods came from The Scotsman golf correspondent, Martin Demspter.

Here is the question and answer from Woods as transcribed by ASAP Sports

Q.  Can you tell us what you thought of Brandel Chamblee’s interview on the Golf Channel last week, and also have you received a personal apology from him?
TIGER WOODS:  Well, I’ve said everything I’m going to say.  I talked to Bernie about it when I was in Hainan Island, and that’s it.

However Martin got a right royal roasting from yours truly (and I was only joking) when he reported the question in today’s edition of his newspaper:

On Chamblee, Woods had responded to remarks made by the golf analyst in a US magazine during a challenge match against Rory McIlroy in China at the beginning of last week. But what did he think of Chamblee, in a subsequent Golf Channel interview, admitting that he “went too far” with his comments, and had Woods received a personal apology? “I’ve said everything I’m going to say,” he replied to that question posed by The Scotsman. “I talked about it when I was in Hainan Island and that’s it.”

Martin was teased in tampering with Tiger’s quote and I promised him as a favor I would not post a picture of him taken with a Brazilian beauty who was among the dancers entertaining guests at last night’s lavish gala welcome dinner.
