Brandt Snedeker Withdraws From Australian PGA With Dodgy Knee Despite No Apparent Concern In China.

Brandt Snedeker was a shock last minute withdrawal from this week’s Australian PGA Championship citing a knee injury despite the American in seemingly good health and hosting a clinic on Monday in Shanghai.

The current World No. 9 was to be one of the major draw cards along with Masters champion Adam Scott competinngn ompionship presented by Coca-Cola, has been forced to withdraw with a knee injury sustained in China.

Snedeker competed in last week’s WGC – HSBC Champions event in Shanghai but the PGA of Australia were completely in the dark how the injury was sustained.

Naturally, it prompted PGA of Australia CEO Brian Thorburn to express his disappointment on Snedeker’s withdrawal.

“Brandt is a player who is held in very high regard wherever he goes and whie we’re obviously disappointed he won’t be playing this week our thoughts are with him and we wish him a speedy recovery,” Thorburn said.
