Golf Australia has finally confirmed what www.golfbytourmiss.com reported five days ago and that is dual Major Champion Rory McIlroy will contest this year’s Emirates Australian Open.

It had been brought to the notice of www.golfbytourmiss.com on day two of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill the affable 24-year old was rumored to be traveling to Sydney for a second time this year after being present with girlfriend, Caroline Wozniacki when she competed in an ATP event ahead of the Australian Open.

And in speaking to McIlroy after he finished eight in year’s final Major the Northern Irishman revealed he would be teeing up at Royal Sydney.
