Kjeldsen & Paisley Share Rare Pair Of Eagles At 25th BMW International Open.

Denmark’s Soren Kjeldsen and England’s Chris Paisley shared a rare pair of eagles late in their third rounds of the 25th anniversary BMW International Open in Munich.

The duo walked off the shortened pair four, 16th both with eagle ‘two’s’.

Organisers reduced the hole to around 260-yards with Kjeldsen sending a booming drive that nearly hit the flagstick from where he putted from 18 feet.

Paisley’s drive was well right of the green but the 27-year old Tour rookie managed to hole his wedge shot from some 30 metres out from the flagstick.

“It’s not unusual to managed a two on a par four but for the two of us to do it at the same hole was pretty unique,” said Kjeldsen.

“The organisers brought the tee for us, so you see the big drivers using 3-wood whereas I hit a really nice driver that just missed hitting the flag.”

However it was a stop-start day for Kjeldsen and Paisley who were on the 10th hole when play was halted for two hours due to heavy rain.
