Tiger Woods’ Ex Wife Has Swedish Flag Flying High Over Florida Ocean Front Home

Rory McIlroy is not the only golfing celebrity buying up big in Florida.

Tiger Woods’ ex-wife is flying the flag for  her native Sweden from the roof of her multi-million dollar mansion being built  on the Florida beachfront.

Elin Nordegren, 32, has started  her life over by spending a lot of  time and money on creating her dream home, rebuilding a $12 million North Palm  Beach estate.

Elin’s five-year marriage to the former long time World No. 1 broke down in late 2009.

The 21,000 square-foot house will include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, waterfalls, Koi pond, spa, gym, wine room and movie theater – but perhaps unsurprisingly, there are no golf facilities.

The master bedroom suite will be 1,200 sq ft  and enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The house originally on the block had been built in 1932 but the Swede promptly knocked the property down.

The former nanny was criticized for  destroying the property but she insisted it would have taken too much work to  restore the home which was not hurricane proof and infested with  bugs.

And the Stockholm-born beauty is reported to have enrolled part-time as a student at Rollins College in Winter Park, where she is  studying psychology.
