John Senden Leads By Two As He Eyes Second Emirates Australian Open Title In Six Years.

John Senden heads into the final round of the Emirates Australian Open leading by two shots as he eyes a second Stonehaven Trophy in six years.

Indeed, it’s been six years since Senden last won and that was in capturing the 2006 Australian Open at nearby Royal Sydney.

The rangy Queenslander emerged from a third straight day of bright but extremely windy conditons to sign for a third round of a two under par 70 to move to seven under par with England’s World No. 4 Justin Rose also posting a 70 to be at five under par.
