Paul Casey’s ‘Cheeky’ Shot Of The Day At Barclays Singapore Open.

England’s Paul Casey found his golf ball in a rather ‘cheeky’ position on day three of the Barclays Singapore Open.

Casey was playing the ninth hole on the Sentosa Resort course when he second shot came to rest behind a female spectator.

However the woman actually picked the ball and then proceeded to place it where it ‘originally’ landed and then resumed her seat on the grass with the ball immediately ‘behind’ her.

Casey immediately called for a referee and you can see in the exclusive photograph of highly respected Indian born golf journalist, ‘Swamy’ Krishnaswamy, the European Tour’s Miguel Zamora can be seen directing Casey on a course of action.

The double Ryder Cup star then carefully picked up the ball from behind the seated spectator and resumed to play a brilliant third shot off a downhill lie in the rough that came within four feet of the pin, which he holed for a par.

Hereunder are ‘Swamy’s’ superb on-the-spot photographs of the incident.
