Graeme McDowell ‘tweeted’ a picture during today’s near three hour rain delay from the locker room of the Firestone Country Club course showing a rare sight.

G Mac’s snap showed Tiger Woods sitting with other players glued to TV coverage of Britain’s Andy Murray crushing arch rival Roger Federer in the final for the Olympic Gold medal at Wimbledon.

Sitting around the 14-time Major winning Woods was England’s Simon Dyson, American Dustin Johnson, Spain’s Sergio Garcia and Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy.

Storms halted play at 9.15am local time and with a resumption to the $US 8.5m event set for 12 noon.
