New PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monaghan has been in his new job less than a week and already there’s suggestions of a major shake-up on golf’s greatest stage. Davis Love 111 has become the latest golfer to suffer a serious injury while skiing. The victorious USA Ryder Cup Captain broke his collarbone in three places and after what he said was a ‘cardinal sin’ earlier this week in snowboarding at Sun Valley in Idaho. The 53-year-old American was flown to Birmingham, Ala., where surgery was performed Thursday, with a plate and eight screws put into the collarbone.
