American Brandt Snedeker has fallen one shot shy of recording the first-ever European Tour round of 59 on day three of the WGC – HSBC Champions event in China.
Snedeker birdied his opening four holes on the Mission Hills Olazabal course and then when to seven under par for his round with birdies at seven, nine and 10.
