Graeme McDowell likes the sights and sounds of Augusta National including admiring the wonderful array of flowers all about the Georgia golfing gem. But the former US Open champion didn’t count on seeing a snake emerge from a bed of azaleas on the par five 13th tee. And the Northern Irishman quickly grabbed his mobile phone to snap a picture of the Cottonmouth reptile and according to Wikipedia an adult cottonmouth snake is capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite.

Tiger Woods displayed the form that has won him four Masters titles in holing a remarkable par putt at the ninth hole during his first official practice round at Augusta National. Woods hit an 8-iron second shot that went a few feet through the green but some 60-feet from the flagstick.
