Sharma Looking To Savour A Double Home-Coming
I bumped into the affable Shubhanker Sharma at the recent Hero Dubai Desert Classic joking with him, when I asked him what he thought about the recent Australia versus India cricket series.
India is a great cricketing nation and far-and-away the No. 1 sport in the country.
However, the country was no match when Australia wrapped-up a five-match series 3-1 earlier last month in Sydney.
There’s always been plenty of fun chatting cricket with the India-born golfers and here I am going back to ...

French golfer Julien Sale carved his name into Asian Tour history in becoming the first Tour member to win on debut.
Sale, 27, came from two shots off the lead to post a five-under-par closing day 65 and capture the Smart Infinity Philippine Open with an 11-under victory tally.
Not only did Sale create Asian Tour history but the wins was his first as a professional.

Day Lambasts PGA Tour Creating ‘A Have & Have-Nots Tour’
Former World No. 1 Jason Day has lambasted the PGA Tour in creating a have and have-nots Tour with too few events where the best players are regularly teeing-up.
In one of Day’s frankest interviews for many a long time, the US-based Aussie spoke frankly declaring it is unfortunate there is now ‘two tours within the one tour’.
Day was speaking to Australian Golf Digest ahead of today’s (Wednesday) starting $9.3m Farmers Insurance Open on the Torrey Pines host ...
Asian Tour New Season Starts With 112th Anniversary Smart Infinity Philippine Open
This week heralds the first event on the new Asian Tour season with the Smart Infinity Philippine Open in Manilla.
While 2025 also marks the 30th year since the first Asian Tour event, this week will be the 112th anniversary of the Smart Infinity Philippine Open since the inaugural hosting of the event in 1913 and won by American amateur JRH Mason.
How many countries can boast a national open championship with such a long history?
The tournament has been played every year since with the exception ...

Hatton: “I’d Skip School To Watch This Dubai Event, So To Win Is Brilliant”.
Hero Dubai Desert Classic champion Tyrrell Hatton revealed he used to skip school to watch the Dubai event on TV, and admits is now amazing to join some of the greats of the game in becoming the Dubai events new champion.
Hatton, 33, birdied the last in closing 69 to capture a second DP World Tour victory in five events after winning last October’s Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.
Hatton said: “This win is up there with winning the Dunhill in St. Andrews and the only thing bigger would ...
