Four-time Major winning Rory McIlroy revealed he penned his 2015 goals on the back on a boarding pass.
McIlroy used his time aboard a recent Emirates Airlines flight from Dublin to Dubai to again write down his goals for the new season and in a procedure he has adopted since the commencement of his career.
Last year those goals were put on the back of a boarding pass bearing seat number 4K while he was seated in 1A for the flight to Dubai where he had spent the past week working on his game before ...

Talented French golfer Romain Wattel is one of the standout players to have made a switch in equipment companies over the winter.
Wattel has now become a Nike staff player joining the likes of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods with the Nike swoosh on his bag.
And as is the scenario with Nike, it means the French-born carries no other logo.
Wattel had been with Titleist since he was a teenager and signed on with Nike in a 14-club, golf ball, shoes, cap and glove deal.
“It is a big change for me and ...

Rory McIlroy To Spend Six Days In A Dublin Court Just Two Days After Desert Classic.
Bizarrely, World No. 1 Rory McIlroy is headed for at least six days in the chilly surrounds of a Dublin High Court room just two days after enjoying the warmth and support of competing in next month’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
Organisers of the Dubai event indicated McIlroy will tee-up where in 1999 he claimed the first of now 16 pro career wins including success in four Majors.
It was also in the 2007 Desert Classic where the then 17-year old McIlroy played all four rounds for a first occasion ...
Britain’s Got Golfing Talent – Josh Waters & Mark Brailey.
British golf is clearly in good hands with Josh Waters and Mark Brailey already enjoying a good grip on the professional game.
It was pure chance I found my way to the splendid Osprey Point, a 27-hole layout at Boca Raton in Florida, and equally it was a chance meeting with the pair of English-born professionals.
I had been all set to play a round of golf by myself on one of the best public golf courses I had seen for some time when the Osprey Point starter pointed out a three-ball already on the ...
‘The Great Escape’ At 36,000 Feet.
It was the strangest scenario relaxing at 36,000 feet on a German airline, heading to Frankfurt in Germany, watching the all-time classic movie – The Great Escape.
The 1963 all-star cast movie remains one of my all-time favourites so much so the screen page of my laptop feature a photo of the late Steve McQueen astride his 1962 Triumph Thunderbird motor-cycle.
(Note – The motor cycle was modified to look WW 2 however there was no hiding the ‘chunky’ tyres that did not come ...
