Jason Bohn in recovering in a local Palm Beach Gardens hospital after withdrawing from today’s second round and diagnosed having suffered a ‘mild’ heart attack.
Bohn, 42 was conveyed by ambulance to the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Centre immediately after rounds of 71 and 72 to make the cut in the Honda Classic.
A PGA Tour spokesperson said; “Jason was feeling unwell after his round and rather than head to the locker room he was conveyed immediately by ambulance where he has been detained in the medical centre for continuing observation while his wife and his parents are by his side.”
The Pennsylvania-born golfer Bohn, who now resides in Georgia, has won twice on the PGA Tour and the last being the 2010 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
