Rory McIlroy Handed Deed To His New $9.5m Florida Abode.

World No. 1 Rory McIlroy is an official Florida home owner after being handed the deed to his new home in an exclusive part of Palm Beach Gardens.

Local real estate records reveal McIlroy paid $9.5 million for the modern house at 2380 Old Gate Road, in the Old Gate neighborhood.

The double Major winner bought the palatial abode under a trust that bears the names of his Orlando lawyer, Richard Fildes, and Philip Baker, a board member of McIlroy’s charity, The Rory Foundataion.

It is understood the asking price for the 16,123-square-foot mansion was $10.9 million so McIlroy’s been able to save $1.4m

The deed was transferred Friday from the previous owner, investor Christian Demers.
