Not for a first occasion this year USA President Donald Trump has disrupted play in a professional men’s golf tournament.
The latest was earlier this afternoon when two US Marines helicopters flew right over the Amgen Irish Open host course at Trump Doonbeg that Trump has owned for some 12-years.
Play was halted while fans looked on in amazement at the sight of two giant military helicopters coming into land at a DP World Tour event.
Though as the image in our X messasge shows former champ Shane Lowry seemed more focussed on his game.

Since the Trump Organisation took ownership of the Greg Norman designed course, a staggering €40 million has been pumped into the resort, including the initial purchasing price.
Trump’s visit brought an enormous security operation to the Clare village. The President travelled to Doonbeg after meetings in Dublin earlier that day with both the Irish PM and Irish President.
Of course, his arrival brought significant scrutiny across the island.
And no sooner than touching down and Trump suggested he may also be attending next year’s Ryder Cup at Adare Manor and also in Ireland.
