American Wyndham Clark overcame a third round mystery bloody nose to brilliantly post a closing day 60 and capture the CJ Cup Bryon Nelson in Dallas, Texas.
Clark came from two shots back posting a 12th hole eagle along with nine birdies, four of the birdies over his closing five holes, for an amazing three-shot 30-under victory tally on the host TPC Craig Ranch course.
Si Woo Kim, who led by two heading into the final day, signed for a 65 to be second at 27-under while World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler again failed to impress over the last day, also posting a 65 to be third at 25-under.
All credit to Clark having been observed on ‘moving day’ with bloody running from his nose to collect the $1.854m first prize victory cheque.

The win is the 32-year old’s first Tour success in two years for the 2o23 US Open champ.
“Man, it was pretty amazing“, he said.
“Obviously I made a birdie on 14, and I look and Si Woo’s right there on my heels. Then I birdied 15, and I just knew I had to keep birdieing because I knew Si Woo was probably going to do the same thing, or even Scottie.
“I felt pretty comfortable, but I knew I had to put the pedal to the metal and keep making birdies. I made more than I thought I was going to make, that’s for sure“.
Among those supporting Clark was new girlfriend Emily Tanner and first ‘introduced’ to the golf world when she caddied for Clark earlier this year at the Masters Par-3 contest at Augusta National.
And while looking forward to celebrating his win with his girlfriend and friends, Clark could not explain the mystery nose bleed,
“I don’t really know. I had like a cut on my nose, and I went like this. Next thing you know I was bleeding. It wasn’t quite a bloody nose, but it lasted a couple holes,“ he said.
