England’s Justin Rose has smashed the Earth course record by two shots with a blistering 10-under par 62 on the final day of the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
Rose was staring at a 70-foot putt for eagle and with the crowd cheering on his ball as it came to rest right on the edge of the hole for the easiest of tap-in birdies.
Rose’s effort is two shots better than the proir best of an eight under par 64 and with Spain’s Sergio Garcia producing that score earlier in the round.
It put the World No. 7 ranked Rose into the clubhouse lead on 21-under par.
