Current European No. 1 Shubhanka Sharma is not about to be distracted by quintessential US food outlets on Washington Boulevard and the road leading into Augusta National.

There’s all the usual ‘suspects’ such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Denny’s, Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts.

And the double European Tour winner this year will not be swayed to tackle one of Augusta’s famed ‘Palmetto Sandwich’.

No, the 21-year old sensation is sticking with what he knows best.

Shukhankar Sharma sticking to his favourite food in the world.

“The only problem is that I’m vegetarian, so I have limited choices,” he said.

“But I will probably go out and have something.  I have to be very biased, I love Indian food.  I feel like that is the best food in the world.”

Shubhanka’s only problem is that his mother has not travelled to see her son tee-up in not only his first Masters but a first Major.
