NFL Great Aaron Rodgers Fires Comeback Victory Pass To Tiger Woods.

Pebble Beach, California …

Just two days after the Eagles beat the Patriots in Superbowl L11 and the hero of Superbowl XLV was full of praise for Tiger Woods and backing the former long-time World No. 1 to get back to his winning ways.

Aaron Rodgers help steer the Green Bay Packers to Superbowl 2010 season success and in the process was named Superbowl MVP.

The 35-year old California-born Rodgers is this week contesting the AT & T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and judging by his golf game he is just as accurate with a golf club in his hand as he was in leading the NFL three times in touchdown-to-interception ratio (2011, 2012, 2014); twice in passer rating (2011, 2012), touchdown passing percentage (2011, 2012), and lowest passing interception percentage (2009, 2014); and once in touchdown passes (2016) and yards per attempt (2011).

Rodgers has naturally attracted plenty of both player and spectator interest already this week ahead of the start of the $US 7.4m event.

And I delighted in firstly introducing myself to this NFL legend and then asking him the keys to his success on and off the football field.

“I have found being successful in the sport I chose was all about relying on my instincts and my intuition,” said Rodgers.

“I am a feel player.  I have to get myself in the right frame mentally and I have to think about my breathing techniques.  I think about my visualisation.  There is a lot of techniques I have learned over the years but you have to control your thoughts when you on the field.”

And then Rodgers was asked, and being a pretty decent golfer, if he thought Woods could get back his world-dominating best.

“Tiger is going to be the best in the world again, and I have no doubt about that whatsoever,” he said.

A great recommendation from an athlete who was at the pinnacle of his sport to another determined to again get back to being the best golfer in the world.
