Woods’ Humourous New Fathers Advice To Scheffler: “Get Some Sleep!”

“Get Some Sleep”

That was Tiger Woods’ humourous advice for the game’s current top-ranked player Scotty Scheffler when asked what advice he would extend to Scheffler now that he’s become a father for a first time.

Woods is a father of two while Scheffler is now the proud father of a son he and his wife Meredith have named, Bennett.

And knowing now life will change for the Scheffler’s Woods was asked, also as a dad’ what would he advise the four-time winner this year.

“Get some sleep”, said Woods smiling.

“I mean, he’s got obviously he and Meredith, fantastic, having their first, and those are — as we all of us who have had children, those are some tough years and ahead of them.

“As I said, try and get some rest as much as you possibly can. He’s the No. 1 player in the world, and having a great, stable family life at home is important to having a great life out here on Tour”.

Woods was speaking to the media as a four-time former PGA Championship winner having won the famed Wanamaker Trophy in 1999, 2000, 2006 and 2007.

This week also marks his 22nd appearance in the championship since making his debut in 1997 at Winged Foot.
