Slow play is the curse of any golfer professional or amateur.

Of course, the European Tour is planning to introduce penalties for any player taking more 40 seconds to play a shot but the 40 seconds includes picking a club, lining-up your shot and taking your stance.

But imagine being stuck behind a guy who takes an agonising 25 seconds standing over the ball and then when he finally gets around to swinging the club, he completely misses the ball.
