Austin, TX …

It was clearly a case of memories of those long hot summer days spent sunning and surfing in Sydney in seeing a line of VWs, and some with surfboards, travelling in convoy in route to this week’s WGC  Dell Match-Play Championship here in Austin, Texas.

VWs with surfboards strapped to the roof seemed to be a common sight up and down the sun-splashed beaches of Sydney.

My brother, Steve has the great shot taken in his twenties with his long hair Proudly standing beside his VW – and you guessed it with surfboards on the roof.

Anyway here is the great sight we passed earlier this week.
