Tiger Woods Admits Phase Two Of His Career Hinges On His Back.

Nassau, Bahamas

Tiger Woods embarks this week on what he has described as phase two of his career.

It will have been an absence of 465 since he last teed-up in competition when he finished T10th at the 2015 Wydnham Championship at Greensboro.

Off-course, phase two has already involved unifying all his brands under the TGR logo.

But on-course phase two, he says, could all depend on how his back stands up to the rigours of competition.

“As far as how much golf I’m going to play, I don’t know because I don’t know what my back’s going to be doing,” he said.

“Would I like to play a full schedule every year for the next decade plus?  Yeah, I would, that would be great.  Can I?  I don’t know.  We’ll see.  I’m going to do everything I can.

“I miss it, I love competing out here and it’s fun.  It’s fun for me to do this.  That’s what people probably don’t quite understand.  I love to compete, I love playing against these guys and I miss being out here.
