• His 12th European Tour International Schedule victory in his 155th European Tour event.

• Moves to 4,727,253 points in The Race to Dubai to be crowned European Tour Number One for a third time after 2012, 2014 and 2015.

• Remains in third place in the Official World Golf Ranking with 11.3198.

• His third European Tour victory of the 2015 season. They are Omega Dubai Desert Classic, WGC – Cadillac Match Play and DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.

• Becomes the second player to win three times this season on The European Tour International Schedule, following Andy Sullivan (South African Open Championship hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni, Joburg Open and Portugal Masters).

• The second consecutive season he has recorded three or more victories on The European Tour and second overall in his European Tour career. (He won four times during the 2014 European Tour season).

• His second title in the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, following his triumph in 2012.

• His second victory in the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai comes in his seventh appearance in the event. (Apart from his two wins he was tied second in 2014, third in 2009, fifth in 2010, tied fifth in 2013 and tied 11th in 2011).

• The second time during his career he has won the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai and also been crowned European Tour Number One. He first achieved the feat in 2012.

• The fourth time a player has won the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai and be crowned European Tour Number One in the same season. They players are Lee Westwood (2009), Rory McIlroy (2012 and 2015) and Henrik Stenson (2013).

• The second player following Henrik Stenson (2013-14) to win twice at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.

• Since the beginning of the 2014 season has amassed a total of 11,876,756 points in The Race to Dubai, from a mere 27 events played.

• Since The European Tour’s first season in 1972 he becomes the seventh player to be European Tour Number One in back-to-back years. The players are, Peter Oosterhuis (1972-74), Seve Ballesteros (1976-78), Sandy Lyle (1979-80), Colin Montgomerie (1993-99), Retief Goosen (2001-02), Ernie Els (2003-04) and Rory McIlroy (2014-15).
