• This victory beats his previous best 2015 performance of tied third in the Trophée Hassan II.

• His second victory in the BMW International Open, following his triumph in 2011.

• Only the third multiple winner of the BMW International Open, following Paul Azinger (1990 and 1992) and Thomas Bjørn (2000 and 2002).

• All three of the multiple winners have won both their titles over the GC München Eichenried layout.

• His second victory in the BMW International Open comes in his eighth appearance. (Has played every year since 2008).

• His third top three finish in the BMW International Open. Was tied third in 2010, first in 2011 and first in 2015. All three of these finishes have come at GC München Eichenried. (This is his sixth visit to GC München Eichenried overall with 50% of his finishes in the top three).

• Has now won €820,460 in career earnings in the BMW International Open.
