Sergio Gargia Receives Emails Of Apology From PGA Tour.

Spaniard Sergio Garcia revealed he has received email correspondence from the PGA Tour with regards to unruly incidents where the Spaniard was heckled by the crowd when in contention for victory at the recent Players Championship.

“I received two emails and they were from the PGA Tour,” he said.

“I can’t really tell you what they said but hopefully there will no more trouble.  That’s basically what they were saying.

“Also I heard what Darren (Clarke) had to say yesterday about the Ryder Cup next year and hopefully there will be no trouble, but I still have to make the team for Hazeltine.”

And when asked if he had also heard from the PGA of America regarding crowd behaviour, Garcia said he hadn’t.
