Padraig Harrington’s & James Hahn’s Bizarre World Ranking Connection.

Here’s a bizarre World Ranking statistic that surfaced after Ireland’s Padraig Harrington captured a second Honda Classic title.

Harrington was ranked 297th in the world in defeating American Daniel Berger in Monday’s play-off at PGA National.

A week earlier James Hahn was also then ranked 297th in the world when he broke through to win the Northern Trust Open and his maiden PGA Tour victory at Riviera in suburban L.A.

And both Harrington and Hahn made the same jump in the rankings with Hahn rocketing to 86th in the world while Harrington moved back to 82nd on the rankings.

England’s Steve Webster is this week’s 297th world ranked player and if all goes to plan he could very well capture this week’s European Tour Africa Open title.

Now wouldn’t that be even more bizarre?
