For a second occasion this new season I’ve had the pleasure on flying on an Airbus A380.

The first being in January on a Lufthansa flight from Miami to Frankfurt and then earlier this week flying out of Paris and returning to Miami on an Air France A380 to report on this week’s Honda Classic.

It was a superb flight back across the Atlantic until we arrived in Miami and were informed we had to wait some 30 minutes for a Lufthansa A380 to vacate the only gate at Miami Airport that is in place to cater for the A380s.

And I won’t mention the sore point of having to spend 45 minutes in the Miami Airport customs hall and with clearing US customs in Dublin again the more attractive alternative.
