Bernie Breaks 70, Net 53 & A Blistering 46 Stableford Points.

The golfing New Year began in blistering style with your editor breaking 70 for a very first occasion and on a non par three layout with a round of 68 on the Lone Pine Golf Club course in West Palm Beach.

That translated a net score of a staggering 53 and also an incredible 46 points.

All but for the two opening holes the round was played in the company of Gary Scott, who works as a Commercial Producer for the local WPTV News Channel 5 and a FOX affiliate station.

Gary will be covering next month’s PGA Tour Honda Classic and we intend catching up for possibly another game.

And before jumping to conclusions Lone Pine plays to a par 62 with eight par fours and the remainder par threes.

Bernie takes to the Lone Pine Golf Club course posting his first-ever sub-70.
