You could be mistaken you were making your way to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C, and the seat of government in the United States rather than a golf course in sun-splashed Florida.

I say this only because in heading to the Eagle Course at the President Golf Club in West Palm Beach you drive along Congress Drive before turning into Presidential Ave and passing by streets named Embassy Drive and Consulate Place.

The course is lined with residential buildings named after former US President greats such as ‘Washington’, ‘Lincoln’ and ‘Jefferson’.

Then there’s other buildings that line the 18-hole layout Yorktown, Parliament and Envoy.

However in arriving at the President Golf Club course there’s no security checks, no x-ray screening, no Secret Service, no diplomacy and you certainly won’t need a Presidential Pardon!
