Tiger Woods is joining fellow US Open champion Graeme McDowell in owning a Florida restaurant.
The 14-time Major winner announced he will open a restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, named “The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club.”
The restaurant is scheduled to open in 2015, with an initial ribbon cutting ceremony in October.
“I look forward to enjoying my restaurant as much as I hope the public will,” Woods said. “I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal,” Woods added. “I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.”
McDowell is co-owner of Nona Blue, a bar bistro in Lake Nona outside of Orlando
