TPC Louisiana staff wasted no time recognizing the efforts of Ben Martin’s course record setting 10-under par 62 on the opening day of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

And as you can observe from the photograph below Martin’s name was up on wall of the clubhouse when players arrived this morning for the second day’s play in the $US 6.8m event.

Martin didn’t drop a shot in his 62 that included 23 putts ahead of the 26-year old South Carolina native adding a round of 67 that was highlighted by an 11th hole eagle he was playing as his second.
