New Orleans may be playing host to this week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans and another tournament in the make-up of the FedEx Cup but this Louisiana city it’s one of the most vibrant stops on the PGA Tour.

It is why around 75% of this week’s competitors are residing in the city rather than the some 20-minute drive to the west bank of the Mississippi River and in the vicinity of the TPC Avondale course.

And after last week taking ‘The Chevy to …. Hilton Head’ we pointed the car south-west to the Mississippi and where are also delighted to be staying this week deep in the heart of all that is exciting about New Orleans.

Lending to a wonderful welcome to New Orleans is the Holiday Inn Downturn Superdrome hotel where the hotel has presented a superb pictorial tribute to the birthplace of jazz as you see from the photographs below.
