A Night Out To Spurs -v- Pelicans NBA Encounter In San Antonio.

If you will excuse the pun, it was a spur on the moment decision to spend Saturday night in downtown San Antonio watching the NBA clash between the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Some 18,500 fans, and probably 99% being Spurs fans judging by the noise, packed into the AT & T Arena in downtown San Antonio to witness a one-sided match and with the Spurs easily winning 96 – 80.

The Spurs were never behind and in the process collected a record-breaking 17th straight victory for the franchise.

PreseGolf, by TourMissnt at the match was five-time Major winning Phil Mickelson (see earlier story) who was greeted by the Spurs coyote mascot wearing a green jacket.

Here is some photographs from a great evenings entertainment.
